Yoga + Acupuncture

Combining the time-honored benefits of yoga with the ancient wisdom of East Asian medicine, we are offering an opportunity to deeply immerse yourself in restorative practices in preparation for the deepest dark of the Winter Solstice.

Please join Amelia and Navarre in a special evening to support relaxation, immunity, and grounding. Class will begin with gentle yoga to find ease and balance. Then Amelia will guide students into restorative yoga poses where they will experience Navarre's offering of acupuncture, inviting peace and deep rest within the nervous system. Class will end with Chinese herbal tea made to warm the belly and calm the mind.

comes from a background in home birth midwifery, natural/ancestral parenting, herbalism, and traditional food ways/nutritional studies. This informs and supports her offerings as an acupuncturist and practitioner of East Asian Medicine. Trauma-informed care, inclusivity, trust, and respect form the foundation of what she offers to all patients and she values the collaborative nature of her role as she holds space for each patient’s journey toward better health. She offers both in-clinic treatments at Inspire Family Acupuncture as well as home visit treatments for birthing families and elders in the East Bay through Moon Mountain Medicine.
