Amelia’s love of yoga and anatomy shines in her mindful, strength-informed movement classes. In her Flex & Flow series, she combines yoga, breath, and strength training to help students build physical resilience while staying grounded in awareness. Her approach is both thoughtful and empowering — blending alignment, mindful pacing, and modifications to support a wide range of needs, injuries, and goals.
Amelia has spent the last five years integrating strength work into her home practice and studying how functional movement and yoga can work together. She’s especially passionate about helping students feel confident in their bodies — whether that means being able to do more in daily life or walking into a workout class knowing how to move safely and with intention.
She teaches with props, clear communication, and a supportive, caring manner. Her goal is for students to walk away feeling stronger, more agile, and better equipped — both physically and mentally — to handle life with a sense of ease.
When she’s not teaching, Amelia is spending time with her husband and their four young children, who remind her daily of the importance of slowing down, staying playful, and making space to recharge.
Amelia completed her first teacher training in 2011, followed by prenatal and postpartum training at Yoga Garden in San Francisco, and earned her 500-hour certification from The Yoga Room in Berkeley in 2016. A lifelong student, she continues to deepen her knowledge through ongoing study with teachers in yoga, strength, and other mindful movement disciplines.
