The Everything Bagel Class
In this slow paced class we seem to make time for a little bit of everything! You will need a bolster or blanket you can fold into a rectangle and two small weights, and yoga blocks. For this practice we use the bolster and weights to increase into shoulder strength and stability. From there we continue warm ups for the whole body relining and then standing. We then make time for balance work, standing poses, side plank and then rest with legs up the wall. This class was filmed live January 9, 2023.
Mary's Favorite
For this class you need blocks, a blanket and wall space. We start out laying down with slow movements for breathing awareness and then build into standing warm ups. The standing poses emphasis strength and balance through challenging transitions. This class was filmed live January 2, 2024.
Mimi's Favorite
In this class you will need a bolster, blocks and some wall space. We work on side lying opening and then move into more warm ups at the wall. Wall sits and tree pose to find strength and posture and then more warm ups standing. Put it all together in the standing poses. This class was filmed live December 26, 2023.
Slow Down, Stretch Out, and Strengthen
In this class you will need a bolster, blocks, and a strap. We start out laying down on the bolster to create length and space and then continue laying down for leg stretches. From there we slowly build into strength work to support this opening. This class was filmed live December 20, 2023.
Shoulder and Hip Work Continued
In this class you will need wall space, a washcloth, a strap, and a blanket for padding. We start of laying down and tuning in, with leg stretches with the strap. We then build into warm ups at the wall. These new moves aid in improving space in your shoulder joints and finding your glutes without even thinking about it! We then put it together in strengthening and lengthening yoga moves. This class was filmed live December 12, 2023.
A Dynamic Practice
For this class you need a strap, blocks, and blanket or pillow for padding you knees. We start out with lag stretches, work into squat mobility and strength, and then slow down for some breathing work. Then we put it all together while mindfully working into standing poses. This well rounded class will leave you grounded and calm. This class was filmed live Dec 5, 2023.
Slow and Steady with Standing Poses
In this class you will need a strap and blocks. We start out with longer leg stretches with the strap laying down. From there we move into standing work, taking longer holds in familiar standing poses and playing with different transitions. This helps create focus and strength. Spinal Mobility, Breathing, and a Strong Core
For this class we start laying down. You will need a little wall space for the core work. In this class we work on getting the spine moving and to core strength to support that mobility. This class was filmed live November 21, 2023.
Expansion + Core Stability
For this class we use a foam roller and two small weights in the beginning. You will also want a bolster and a little wall space. In this series we are working on expanding the circumference of the ribs and diaphragm, releasing tension and the building in constructive support to aid in maintaining this work. Breathing + Core Awareness Class 2
For this class you need a foam roller, two small hand weights (Im using 5 lbs weights), and two yoga blocks. Set you mat up with the narrow end against a wall if possible. We start out opening the front body and then the back body with strength and breathing. From there we carry this awareness into the rest of the practice. This class will leave you feeling grounded and down regulated. It was filmed live November 7, 2023
A Well Rounded Practice
For this class we start out with breathing awareness, move into shoulder warm ups with the bolster and then work on standing poses. We end with legs up the wall and longer hip stretched to relax and ease into savasana. This class was filmed live October 24, 2023.
Easing into Twists and Backbends
For this class we start out warming up laying on a bolster and then ease into deeper poses throughout class. We build into revolved triangle and revolved half moon and then work into backbends. This class will leave you feeling relaxed by the end! This class was filmed live Oct 17, 2023.
Breathing Awareness and Standing Poses
In this class we start out with slow movements and an emphasis on the breathing. We take this more relaxed attitude with us into the the standing poses to find ease in the effort. This class was filmed live October 10, 2023. There was some issues with the internet so my apologies for the lower quality video and audio this week.
Twisting, Balancing, and Backbending
In this class you need blocks, a blanket, and a strap. We start out with hip glides to prepare the hips for the warm up, this new start really seems to make a difference for people, I am so excited about it. From there we warm up the whole body. In standing we really get into side body opening, check out how your breathing feels. Then we work into deeper twists and balancing poses. At the end of class we try out a few backbends, all the twisting can really free the spine. This class was filmed live October 3, 2023.
Ankles, Knees, and Hips
For this class you need some space at the wall and blocks and a blanket. We start off warming up the hips in all fours and then move to legs up the wall. This slow easeful start helps us work more into our hips. We then move to standing and work on ankle mobility. We end with some work in half squats. This class was filmed live September 26, 2023.
Hamstring Strengthening with Sliding Class 2
For this class you will need a slider like a blanket or towel (or paper plates if you are on carpet). We start out laying down and work on strength and stability in the legs and hips and then do more sliding work standing. This practice is strengthening and we leave extra time to rest and stretch out at the end. This class was filmed live Sept 19, 2023
Goddess Flow
In this class you will need blocks and a blanket. We start off laying down and then continue warm ups while seated. From there we worked towards a challenge flow of goddess pose and lunges, option to use a chair to help with balance. This class was filmed live Sept 12, 2023
Shoulders with a Foam Roller
For this class you need a foam roller or you can make one with one or two blankets rolled up together. We work on breathing, moving the ribcage and the shoulders and rotation. All of this together makes supports freeing posture, and ease in breathing and reaching arms over head. This class was filmed live Sept 5, 2023.
Shoulder Class
For this class you need blocks and a blanket. We start out lying down to warm up and to progress to standing poses and side plank. This class was filmed live August 30, 2023.
